At least one elective course Selected by the student in consultation with the major professor and/or guidance committee. Elective choices are flexible and meant to enhance and strengthen the student’s expertise in the research area of interest. Graduate classes are preferred, however, undergraduate courses can be taken with the approval of the Graduate Advisor or Program Director.
